The Wash

Beyond the lighthouse the path follows a wide channel across marshland towards sea. Curlews, lapwings, oystercatchers abound - an unruly choir trilling and chattering over the flats.

Here, with the sun warming my face and earth softening underfoot, my eyes can rest. I can expand.
